Questions you must ask to avoid going to the wrong glass shop

  1. Do you use only Original Manufacturers Glass on all your installations?
     
  2. How long will it take for the adhesive to set up before I can safely drive
    the car?
     
  3. Can you show me in writing from the manufacturer that the cure time
    is safe?
     
  4. Do you offer a lifetime guarantee against leaks and stress cracks?
     
  5. Are your installers certified or do they just learn on the job?
     
  6. Will I only be required to pay my insurance deductible or will there be
    any other charges?
     
  7. Will you take care of billing my insurance company for me?
     
  8. Will you give a written quote for any charges I may have to pay?

  9. Do you offer windshield repair as an option?

Once you're satisfied that your working with an honest, competent professional glass shop, ask him to submit the insurance claim for you and give a written quote for any deductibles you may have to pay.
